almost like it never happened
My whole life I’ve struggled with memory. Finding myself always saying, “Where were we?”, “What was their name?”, and “Maybe if I saw a picture of them I’d know who you’re talking about”. Once a moment becomes a memory it devolves into a personal fiction because human brains edit and add drama to these events, and in my case the memory becomes full of holes. I am exploring what this means visually. "Almost like it never happened" is an autobiography that takes form from my memory.
